SESAR Innovation Days 2022 just started and the Drones4Safety project is participating!
Sesar Innovation Days is the SESAR Joint Undertaking event sharing progress and results of research project related to the air traffic management (ATM) domain. It is a milestone event organised annually since 2011. This year it runs over three days, from 5th to 8th December, and is hosted by Hungaro Control in Budapest.
The event has kicked off on Monday 5th December with a welcome session in the Hungaro Control headquarter. In the following days, the program features the presentation and discussion of projects results at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Budapest. The event will end on 8th December with the SESAR Young Scientist Award Ceremony.
The Drones4Safety concept and its drone ecosystem for intelligent and autonomous inspection of linear infrastructures (railways and bridges) is presented at the event both with a poster and a paper entitled: “Autonomous Drones to Ensure Safety in Transport: Concept and Implementations”.

The poster session is planned for Tuesday 6th December 17.15 – 18.30 while the paper will be presented by Emad Samuel Malki Ebeid (Project Coordinator from SDU) on 8th December at 10.45 am.
