Drones4Safety attends ICUAS’21

The University of South Denmark and Aarhus University, on behalf of the Drones4Safety project, will take part in the 2021 International conference on unmanned aircraft systems (ICUAS’21) to be held on 15-18 June 2021.

On this occasion, on Wednesday June 16 at 15.00, Nicolaj Haarhøj Malle, Frederik Falk Nyboe and Emad Samuel Malki Ebeid from the University of Southern Denmark (project leader of Drones4Safety) will deliver a presentation entitled “Survey and Evaluation of Sensors for Overhead Cable Detection Using UAVs

On Thursday June 17 at 14:20, Liping Shi, Rune Jacobsen from the Aarhus University (project partner of Drones4Safety) and Golizheh Mehrooz from the University of Southern Denmark will deliver a presentation entitled “Inspection Path Planning for Aerial Vehicles Via Sampling-Based Sequential Optimization

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the ICUAS’21 will be hybrid, allowing for virtual and physical participation in Athens (Greece). From the D4S team, only Nicolaj Haarhøj Malle and Frederik Falk Nyboe will participate physically in the event. To virtually attend the conference, register here.
